My work often begins with familiar images and objects that carry personal and collective associations. In this piece, A Dream Reassembled, I return to a childhood memory of wanting to become a ballerina, a dream held with absolute certainty before life and newer dreams began to reshape it. The artwork holds both the original fantasy and its present realization, capturing the liberating vulnerability of a dream finally claimed on my own terms.
Past and present exist simultaneously. One side holds the immediacy of the present, where a woman inhabits the dream from a different stage of life, with an ordinary marker of contemporary reality resting at her feet. On the reverse side, a painted and altered ballerina doll stands poised on a gift box, accompanied by traces of childhood toys that seep through the canvas surface. Together, these two figures occupy a space between aspiration and reality, innocence and self-awareness, fulfillment and longing.
Front and back, past and present, painting and object are physically connected. The work exposes its seams, edges, support structures, underpainting, sketches, stains, and accumulated layers. Rather than concealing its construction, it reveals it. The exposed layers and fragments allow earlier and later states to remain visible at once. Together, the two sides reflect and interrupt one another. They coexist, overlap, and reshape each other, remaining in continuous conversation.

Shipping within the United States:
You can expect the artwork to be shipped within five (5) business days of order. Art works are shipped via USPS, FedEx or UPS Ground with a 4 to 6 day transit delivery.
Large works may also be delivered by moving companies.
Ground shipping charges are included in the price and have been calculated.
In cases of oversized art work, buyers will be contacted for freight shipping options.Shipping to Canada & Mexico:
An additional fee of $40 will be added to the included estimated US shipping cost for the artwork. The recipient is always responsible for any and all duties/fees/taxes. Artworks are shipped via FedEx or UPS Ground with a 4 to 10 day transit delivery.
International Shipping to other locations:

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return the artwork in its original condition within seven (7) days from the date your art was marked delivered by the carrier and receive a full refund for the price of the artwork. Shipping charges will not be refunded, and return shipment costs are the responsibility of the customer.
We also require all returned artwork to be shipped out by the buyer within four (4) days after confirming with us that the work will be returned. Repackage the artwork using the original packaging materials used by the artist. If you’ve already disposed of the original packaging, you’ll be responsible for purchasing packaging materials to send the artwork back safely.
If you do not notify us of your intent to return the work within 7 days of receipt or you do not ship the work within 4 days of notifying us, you will NOT be eligible for a refund.
