"Things are not what they seem". (part of a sub-series to "Kidnapped").
A painting on *Yupo paper, depicts an abandoned pacifier on the ground. The distant and nearby scenery in the background alludes to a sense of impending disaster and upheaval.
Inspired by the tragic events of October 7, 2023— the murder of 1400 individuals in Israel and the kidnapping of 240 Israelis, encompassing Jews, Muslims, citizens, and dual nationals from over 20 countries—this piece reflects my artistic response to the distressing occurrences.
Moving forward, the interpretation and emotional resonance of this piece now lie within the domain of the viewers. While I retain control over the title, the artwork's impact and message are subject to individual perception and contemplation.
