A free standing painting that can be viewed from all sides attached to a mannequin that has been covered with canvas and painted. Thisartwork is "realized" into the 3-dimensional world as a virtual animation of its 2-dimensional painted form still retaining painterly characteristics in our realm.

"The Bather" is a 6-foot tall free-standing floor painting that features a mannequin covered in painted canvas. The artwork can be viewed from all sides. It is homage to Paul Cézanne's "The Bather," evident in both the mannequin itself and the depiction of the scenery on the front of the canvas. On the backside of the canvas, there is Cézanne's figure that appears to seep through from the front. As though it is a shadow image of the mannequin. Canvas cloth drapes from the mannequin’s figure and pools at the bottom among real sea shells. , creating a sense of animation. The artwork combines both 2D and 3D elements, merging traditional painting techniques with a hint of virtual animation.
The Bather
Shipping within the United States:
You can expect the art work to be shipped within five (5) business days of order. Art works are shipped via FedEx or UPS Ground with a 4 to 6 day transit delivery. Large works can also be delivered by moving company.
Ground shipping charges are included in the price and have been calculated (including packaging and insurance).
In uncommon cases of oversized art work, buyers will be contacted for freight shipping options.
Shipping to Canada & Mexico:
An additional fee of $40 will be added to the included estimated US shipping cost for the art work. The recipient is always responsible for any and all duties/fees/taxes. Art works are shipped via FedEx or UPS Ground with a 4 to 10 day transit delivery.
International Shipping to other locations:
Please contact us for freight shipping options and pricing.
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase you may return the artwork in its original condition within seven (7) days from the date your art was marked delivered by the carrier and receive a full refund for the price of the art work. Shipping charges will not be refunded, and return shipment costs are the responsibility of the customer.
We also require all returned artwork to be shipped out by the buyer within four (4) days after confirming with us that the work will be returned. Repackage the artwork using the original packaging materials used by the artist. If you’ve already disposed of the original packaging, you’ll be responsible for purchasing packaging materials to send the artwork back safely.
If you do not notify us of your intent to return the work within 7 days of receipt or you do not ship the work within 4 days of notifying us, you will NOT be eligible for a refund.
